We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our site is a safe environment for anyone who visits and registers through our secure server. We use the information we collect about you to process registrations and to provide a more personalized experience.
What information do we collect and how is it used?
When you register, we need to know your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card number and expiration date (online registration). This allows us to process your registration and notify you of your registration status. We will also be collecting demographic information such as age, gender, race, and education. This information is used for aggregate data analysis only.
How is your information protected?
When you register, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
Will the information collected be disclosed to outside parties?
We do not sell or rent your personal information to others.

Get Fit Twin Cities (GFTC) staff will maintain the privacy of the information you provide to the program.
GFTC is operated by the Minneapolis Department of Health and Family Support and
St. Paul/Ramsey County Public Health.
GFTC will ask for your name, mailing address and ZIP code, and e-mail address to register
you for the program, send you program information, and elicit your responses to survey(s).
We will also ask for your age, gender, and minutes of activity. This information will be
used to evaluate the project as part of the Steps to a Healthier Minneapolis/St. Paul
initiatives, which are also operated by the Minneapolis and St. Paul/Ramsey County health
departments. The only people who will have access to your private information are the staff
from GFTC and staff from Live Healthy America (our website administrator). In any published
reports, your data will be combined with data from other participants, and you and your family
will not be personally identified.
You are not required to provide the requested information to GFTC. However, if you do not
provide at least your email address and record your minutes of activity, you will not be
able to participate in GFTC.
For parents/guardians of children under age 18 years
GFTC requires that all children under the age of 18 years who wish to participate in GFTC,
have permission from a parent or legal guardian. In addition, a parent/guardian must be
the captain of the childs team. We will not contact children directly and they will not
have the ability to report their own minutes of activity. However, we encourage parents to
share emails and other information with children as they deem appropriate. At any time after
providing consent for a childs participation, the parent/guardian may request that we not
collect any further personal information from their child and request that any personal
information we have collected be deleted from our records; we will honor this request
immediately. If you are the parent or guardian of a child whom you believe has signed
up for our program without your consent, please contact us at info@getfittwincities.org so
that we may delete and remove such childs information from our system.

Refund Policy
There will be NO refunds of entry fees.
Exceptions to Live Healthy America's No Refund Policy will be considered on a case by case basis.

A $5.00 processing fee will be assessed to all refunds.
NO REFUND WILL BE PERMITTED BECAUSE A REGISTRANT FAILS TO PARTICIPATE OR IS REMOVED FROM COMPETITION.
